Lake District Day Trip (Sunday)

The Lake District is the largest National Park in England and the most visited place in England outside of London. Get out the city and enjoy a stunning scenic walk from Rydal to Grasmere Waters. There will be free time for lunch in the beautiful village of Grasmere – famous for the English Poet Wordsworth (you can find a daffodil garden dedicated to his life and poetry as well his gravestone) and a chance to purchase the best Lake District souvenir -Grasmere gingerbread! After a lunch break we will head to Rydal Mount to enjoyed the landscaped gardens and waterfall as well as a view of Rydal Lake.

Your trip includes:
-Guided Walk (1.5 hours)
-Free time in Grasmere Village
-A visit to Rydal Mount
Please wear suitable footwear for walking and a waterproof jacket. The terrain is easy-moderate but it can be wet, muddy and slippy underfoot.
There will be a service stop on the way but a direct return on the way home. There are a variety of cafes and pubs in Grasmere Village and a teashop at Rydal Hall should you need to buy refreshments on the day.
